Western Washington utilities pay real money for heat pump conversions, and the federal 25C tax credit adds up to 30 percent of project cost, capped at 2,000 dollars per year for heat pumps. The catch is that every program has its own equipment requirements and paperwork. We deal with that as part of the job.

Puget Sound Energy (PSE)

Rebates for qualifying ductless and ducted heat pumps replacing electric resistance or gas heat, with amounts that vary by equipment tier and existing fuel. PSE serves most of King, Pierce, and parts of Snohomish and Thurston counties.

Snohomish County PUD

Rebates for heat pump installations in PUD electric homes, strongest when replacing electric baseboard or forced-air furnaces. Covers Everett, Marysville, Lake Stevens, and most of Snohomish County.

Seattle City Light

Heat pump offers for Seattle homes with electric heat, including enhanced incentives for income-qualified households.

Tacoma Power

Heat pump and ductless rebates for Tacoma Power customers in Pierce County, including loan options on qualifying projects.

Federal 25C tax credit

30 percent of project cost, up to 2,000 dollars per year for qualifying heat pumps and heat pump water heaters, plus up to 600 dollars for qualifying central AC. Claimed on your tax return; we supply the invoice detail and equipment certificates.
